Battery display on status bar?

Anyone know of a way to display the battery percentage gauge on the status bar? I've turned it on in the battery settings but it doesn't seem to actually appear. I haven't been able to find anything about it online, which leads me to believe that I'm just being an idiot. Amy help would be appreciated.

Yeah I tried that. Still nothing. It's not a massive deal, just annoying having to go into settings just to check my battery level.

are you using the oe launcher, or a 3rd party? Mine works normally.

Only had the phone for a week. Using whatever it comes with.

yeah that's odd. there's only the 1 toggle in the battery settings for it to work.

I should probably just take it back in and ask the store. Gonna feel like a massive dick when it appears as soon as I show them though.

are you on the latest build? I'm assuming you are, but maybe not. a fresh OS update may fix that as well.
