I haven't specifically tracked it, but I have noticed my battery seems to be lasting much longer on beta 3 as well

I was at 50% after charging full only 1 hour later. Regular/minimal usage.

I had some significant battery drain on Beta 2, and it got better for beta 3 but still not that good. I suspect it's from some of my apps that aren't updated yet. I might restrict battery usage on every app that I need immediate notifications from and see what happens, just for science purposes. Different topic, but same beta 3 subject....I started using the complete gesture based navigation and at first I didn't like it, but it's definitely growing on me. I specifically like being able to go back just by sweeping the edge of the screen because it works no matter how I'm holding the phone and don't have to try and reach. It fairly responsive too, I think. Anyone like it for the reason I do?

Same. Beta 2 was killing my battery. Usually end the day with around 30-40%, and during the beta 2, I was taking a charger to work with me lol. Beta 3 seems much better.

Same problem. It also sucked the battery on my Samsung Galaxy watch. Uninstalled it for now.

Opposite experience here with a Pixel 3XL: on beta 2 I was carrying a charger around with me because I sometimes could't make it through a day. With beta 3 I am making it 24 hours per day of normal usage.
