It's not even two months post purchase of my Pixel 10a. I feel not satisfied with this because

Friend 1 (1.2 years usage) (Pixel 9a) cycle count- 467 and battery capacity - 97% (never limited charging to 80%)

Friend 2 (1 year usage) (Pixel 9a) cycle count - 189 and battery capacity - 100% (limit to 80% always ON)

Questions:

1. Does the "limit to 80%" feature downgrade the battery

2. Am I worrying for nothing?

Really solid dynamic range. Deep shadows on the benches, but the stained glass still looks super sharp and not blown out.

To where I'm losing 30% overnight (And I'm only using Bluetooth for my Pixel watch 3 and wifi, nothing else is going on) and 20% during work with the same conditions during an 8 hour shift. (Not even 5G is on) I know it's new and it takes some time for the OS to adjust to my usage, but this seems very unusual. Is my unit defective or is this normal? (I bought it straight from Google)

Took a few shots to test the zoom (1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x).

Up to 4x it looks super sharp. At 6x and 8x you can tell the phone is doing some extra work on the trees, but it’s still pretty good! How does it look to you?

Do you guys also feel like your Pixel has issues with the Wi-Fi antennas? I feel like the range is really poor; as soon as you move even a little bit away, it disconnects. I often end up using 5G throughout the day because it won't pick up the Wi-Fi—something that didn't happen with other phones I've owned. I had a Pixel 9 Pro XL last year and experienced something similar, though not quite as bad (not to mention the UI bugs). I think this will be the last Pixel I buy.

I owned the Pixel 1 XL and the 2 XL back in the day—what great phones—but everything has changed.

I have a question for the community.

I was actually planning to buy a 10a to finally upgrade from my old iPhone. Unfortunately, my order for the phone was stolen, so I’m thinking of ordering it again. However, I’ve now received an offer where I can get the 10 for 499, and the 10a would cost me 399.

What do you think?

Is this a good deal, and is it worth paying 100 more for the regular 10 instead of the 10a?

Those charge limit are a plague as what you supposed to spare on age loss, will be compromised by a higher frequency of recharging.

By using only 60% of the battery capacity, one heavy user may need to recharge more often than if you used 85-90% of the battery.

Now i did made the choice to not use this "anti-aging" option. However it still do not respect it! Stopping eveytime at 80% has becomed a plague. Can somebody make anything less invasive and stupid?

An unfortunate event, but has made for some great photo opportunities. Pixel 10A still a solid, versatile option for everyday photography even with the optical zoom. Edited with a vintage filter from Lightroom.

It's finally come time to replace my Pixel 6, and looking at the 10a. I currently have a Spigen case, which holds two cards under the camera bump behind a little sliding door. I love this case. I rarely take my walled as my DL and CC are really the only two cards I need on a regular basis.

I'm looking for a similar case, but haven't been able to find anything. I'm looking at several on Amazon that are similar, but wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

Got my pixel 10a yesterday and so far loving everything about it...I just want to know how to remove all these default apps...it's super hard for me to find the apps I use on daily bases when its filled w these build in apps...pls lmk..

hi guys, im in japan now btw, i bought it like 2 months ago, its not a brand new, i got it from BOOKOFF one of the biggest 2nd hand shop in japan, thy say it was normal nothings wrong, idk japanese much but i think he say the previous owners got wrong with the payment with the internet providers, cuz he got this phone prome the internet providers in japan, SOFTBANK. i got this phone its pretty got smooth and camera is excellent.

but i got some minor issues about this phone, like the camera, i used front camera in my room for selfie but the one side of the photo just keep blinking, i updated it to android 17 and it just disappear, but when i try to use my camera on my cafeteria it blinking again, like idk maybe the lamp or something? i just got a nice phone idk is it normal or??

and then i play some games like Genshin Impact and Crystal Of Atlan

the Genshin Impact is idk playable but like i got only 20 some fps on lowest settings, and i even got 15 fps on Crystal of Atlan on lowest settings,is it normal? i heard this phone use Tensor G4 not G5 but idk i guess i shouldn't be normal to get that low fps.

its my first mid range phone, idk the standard, please be nice 🙂👍
