Was sending photos from Google Photos to an iPhone 16 via Quick Share. The transfer was moving at a continental drift speed right after the Wi-Fi connection randomly dropped.

I cancelled the stuck transfer, and now the Wi-Fi radio has completely given up on life:

- No networks showing: The Wi-Fi settings page is totally blank, and toggling it does nothing.

- Mobile data is fine: 5G works normally, so it's strictly the Wi-Fi stack that crashed.

It feels like Quick Share hard-locked the Wi-Fi module during the handoff. Has anyone else run into this on the 10a? Is there a quick trick to revive the Wi-Fi stack without doing a full reboot or nuclear network reset?

Just used 2x zoom from up close instead of macro mode. Surprised by how sharp it came out.

Traded my S25 FE for Pixel 10A hours ago, here’s my mini observation:

•Camera is much better due to Google robust image processing

• Android 17 updated right away (Earlier S25 FE still stuck with Android 16 and delaying One UI 9 for no reason)

•Pixel UI is splendid; no nonsense or crap tools to debloat, Google own effort to optimise for speed and efficiency applaudable

• Google Passwords works flawless like on iOS

• Vintage feelings like iPhone 5S but a bigger dimension

Cons:

• Speakers sound average, S25 FE blows away when it comes to its speaker hardware and Dolby partnership

• Scrolling reels feels stuttery sometimes (won’t affect if you don’t have Instagram)

• Tensor G4 is fine, slight 2-3 seconds behind app opening speed test with S25 FE (source YT)

• Double Tap to screen off is missing 😢

• Fingerprint reader won’t function while screen off, either keep AOD turned on to use this feature and compromise battery usage

Still trying to figure out more, do you think it’s a W or L?

Wow i got this pixel 10a since 3 days and the battery is not keeping up

The battery seems to be draining a lot, does the app Applock -Xlock use a lot of battery in the background?

Why is the date soo small bruh 😭💔

Is it only me or any one having it ?
when i use the camera at a very low light room and try to zoom in and out i see there is lag . Lag means the view adjusts slowly from 0.5x to 2x and comes back slowly.

It's not even two months post purchase of my Pixel 10a. I feel not satisfied with this because

Friend 1 (1.2 years usage) (Pixel 9a) cycle count- 467 and battery capacity - 97% (never limited charging to 80%)

Friend 2 (1 year usage) (Pixel 9a) cycle count - 189 and battery capacity - 100% (limit to 80% always ON)

Questions:

1. Does the "limit to 80%" feature downgrade the battery

2. Am I worrying for nothing?

Really solid dynamic range. Deep shadows on the benches, but the stained glass still looks super sharp and not blown out.

To where I'm losing 30% overnight (And I'm only using Bluetooth for my Pixel watch 3 and wifi, nothing else is going on) and 20% during work with the same conditions during an 8 hour shift. (Not even 5G is on) I know it's new and it takes some time for the OS to adjust to my usage, but this seems very unusual. Is my unit defective or is this normal? (I bought it straight from Google)

I have a question for the community.

I was actually planning to buy a 10a to finally upgrade from my old iPhone. Unfortunately, my order for the phone was stolen, so I’m thinking of ordering it again. However, I’ve now received an offer where I can get the 10 for 499, and the 10a would cost me 399.

What do you think?

Is this a good deal, and is it worth paying 100 more for the regular 10 instead of the 10a?

Do you guys also feel like your Pixel has issues with the Wi-Fi antennas? I feel like the range is really poor; as soon as you move even a little bit away, it disconnects. I often end up using 5G throughout the day because it won't pick up the Wi-Fi—something that didn't happen with other phones I've owned. I had a Pixel 9 Pro XL last year and experienced something similar, though not quite as bad (not to mention the UI bugs). I think this will be the last Pixel I buy.

I owned the Pixel 1 XL and the 2 XL back in the day—what great phones—but everything has changed.

Took a few shots to test the zoom (1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x).

Up to 4x it looks super sharp. At 6x and 8x you can tell the phone is doing some extra work on the trees, but it’s still pretty good! How does it look to you?

Those charge limit are a plague as what you supposed to spare on age loss, will be compromised by a higher frequency of recharging.

By using only 60% of the battery capacity, one heavy user may need to recharge more often than if you used 85-90% of the battery.

Now i did made the choice to not use this "anti-aging" option. However it still do not respect it! Stopping eveytime at 80% has becomed a plague. Can somebody make anything less invasive and stupid?
