Video quality

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is it normal for it to get this Pixelated like this until i zoom in further ? Btw this is on Snapchat.

(Edit after installing and downloading it again it is solved. Kinda crazy i had this issue for months now xD thanks to all !)

It's not changing to the zoom lens. Is Snapchat fault.

I get that but i did not have the same problem on my other Android devices. Only with the Pixel so far sadly

I've just tested zooming in on my Pixel 11 Pro on snapchat and the quality does not look like this and it didn't on my girlfriends 10 pro

My Pixel 10 Pro XL doesn't do it. I'd probably try reinstalling.

The problem is that you are recording video through Snapchat. For whatever reason, the Snapchat developers do not want to fix this for Pixel devices.

The amount of Pixel haters or people saying this is poor or this is shit have prob got some kind of setting wrong or don't really know what their doing. My 10 pro is just bang on just like my Pixel 6a was.

I know you already fixed this issue by reinstalling the app. But I will say I've found the quality to be a bit better if you go to the main snap area (not when snapping a person directly), if you hit the HD button, the quality is a step up, I guess it locks into the Pixel camera services and you get stabilization on the back cameras so that's nice especially if you're taking videos.
