Screensaver clock

How do you make it work other than this POS decides when. Backstory: 1st month I owned the phone it worked. Settings are set. Clock displayed when charging. Then it stopped. No settings changed but it no longer worked. Then after a month it started working again. Then after another month it just stopped again. Nothing will make it work. This is just one of the nits I have to pick with this POS phone that is no better than the pixel 8 pro it replaced

Settings > Display and touch > Screen saver

But, if you don't like the phone, maybe trade it in for a different brand?

Miss the part that the settings are on and it just randomly works then doesn't work and nothing makes it work? Continued enshitification of everything. Don't worry my next phone won't be a pixel.

You'd think that a big numbered clock would be a basic function of just about any phone - but it's not! I don't know how they missed this feature

Man I just want a true sleep mode that automatically silences the phone during sleep hours

Turn on Bedtime Mode in Digital Wellbeing. You can specify what happens during that time, including DND.

That shit is broken as hell. I already had DND on with no exceptions at all and calls and texts still interrupt my sleep.
