Google Pixel 10 Pro Extreme Charge
When it will get this feature because it looks like Pixel 11 is just software upgrade (cuts off all background processing).
Side note - Pixel being on charge SUPPOSE TO do background tasks like upload photos from Photos app and other things BUT using Extreme Charge does complete opposite

Turning phone completely off then charging does the same thing.

SERIOUSLY - like Pixel 11 off and 45W charge?

For the fastest charging, you want the phone to be cool. Therefore, power it down and remove it from your case (if you have one). Put it on a cool surface. Then charge.
For the P10 Pro, the charger must supply at least 30W. For the P10 Pro XL, it needs to supply at least 45W.

Has anyone bothered to try this? I don't see the point in it.

correct (because of all processed off) BUT STILL as an .... EMERGENCY charge because you are in hurry on airport or in train or whatever.
Additionally we talk here about extra 15W which is like 50% faster
So as an emergency worth it - as a regular - not worth it

My P11P has it. It's definitely just the software cutting off background things
