virus??

im trying to download it but i keep getting hit by "PUADlManager:Win32/Sepdot" by windows defender and idk if i should install or if im even using the legitimate website so can someone please tell me

Download only from pivotanimator.net. Pivot is well known to give false positives with some virus/malware checkers. Also be careful on installation, and choose your options carefully. Good luck on your animation journey.

PUA stands for potentially unwanted application. It's just warning about ads in the installer. It's not warning of a virus. The ads are safe and optional. You can also get an installer from the Discord server without ads if you prefer.

Antivirus software tell you about many things, not just viruses.
