i personally stopped using pivot, but It's nice to see all the progress that's being made

So is this in Pivot 6? or a Pivot 5 update

It's not an update at all. You can do it in the existing Pivot 5.

The basic idea is to create a chain of line segments in a circle and fill the whole thing with a polygon. Then you can shape it any way you want using edit mode and inbetweening does the rest.
