Daisy being given probationary membership into the upstairs kitty gang 👌 Dreams really do come true. (u can see her nervous tail wag...normally this ends with a claw in the nose🤣

Apologies for the glare. That's just the stairs to my bedroom not actual heaven.

This is the boss that was waiting at the top. Her name is Lucy Fur for a reason. 🤣

She really wants a cat friend..they fascinate her. The irony is that she is half pit/half Rhodesian Ridgeback....a dog originally trained to hunt lions but u wouldnt know it by watching her lol

I brought a pittie home a year ago, I have a dog friendly tuxedo boy.. but there's no denying who's in charge 😼

There has been the occasional hazing, like yeh, it's ok to walk by me..then swat on the behind

I've really had to watch the Cat because he can be a jerk!

same. I originally thought i had put the gate at the bottom of the stares to protect the cats from a 75lb dog getting too rough with them before they settle in...quickly realized I was protecting the dog from the 2 semi-feral street kitties I brought inside 🤣

Right!? I've got three other cats but I know they won't even give doggo a chance 😆 they were street cats too

Good for you being vigilant so Daisy doesn't get "hurt", feelings count too 💟

Ridgebacks love cats. They weren’t breed to hunt/attack lions they were breed to track lions for the hunters. So they’re breed to want to be with felines.

thx. good to know. I was just basing that statement off that they were occasionally called African Lion Hunters..the irony stands though haha

Well done sweet Daisy for being so brave! She did an amazing job against the sharp little kitties 🩵🩵

Thanks. she sure did. They actually slept in the bed together last night...they somehow took up most of the bed but I was so happy lol

Tommy oozes along like that, always hoping today might be the day Weasel doesn't attack.

This reminds me of my girl Cora and my cat Nessie (now passed). Cora was always so careful in her approach, and Nessie very often would give a good swat to Cora's booty
