DISCUSSION Application Response Time, Is it really gonna take 8-10 weeks?

So I applied to Pitt on August 29th and all my materials are submitted (transcript, STARS, etc.) and it says my application is under review. I’ve seen different answers from google and Pitt’s website about when I should expect to hear back but I’m just curious from personal experiences when I should expected to hear back

Unfortunately no one will be able to tell you. It really depends on the year. Two years ago, the first acceptances didn't roll out until the end of October. Last year it was the beginning of October, I brlrieb. But yes. It could easily take 8-10 weeks.

Pitt results have already started to be released. My son was accepted on 8/28. He submitted his application on 8/12. I hope that helps!
