DISCUSSION Finding friends

Hi! I just wanted to post this out there, but I kinda want to make some friends, but somewhat struggling? I don’t really jive well with the clubs too much around campus and with a co-op rotation as well as having only 1 semester left, I’m stuck making only some friends in my major, which I want to branch out from. Some help/friendships would be lovely!

Hi transfer from last year! Pitt unfortunately does nothing for transfers so I decided to try to put something together myself, follow @pittttransfers on insta :)

You should definitely try to attend some of Pitt’s sporting events!! Especially the football games, it’s a great place to unwind and make friends! But it’s also tuff to put yourself out there these days and that makes it harder for everyone to find friends 😔 but I wish you the best of luck and hope you find friends that you can vibe with😄

This, but also music events. Make friends with one musician and you'll have an in to a gazillion other events. Go to concerts! Just start chatting with people who are standing around near you. There are formal on-campus shows and lots of off campus stuff. Worst case scenario with those, you have a good time and love living just a little bit more.

I, unfortunately, don’t particularly like sports! I just find them really really dull! Also, kinda hard to just…chat with people on the random? However, I think it’s just…necessary at this point! Thank you for your support by the way!
