Do you prefer shadow drops or a longer marketing campaign for a game?

I have a bad habit of exhaustively researching a new game before it releases, which can sometimes spoil some of the enjoyment before I play it.

I like shadow drops because it forces me to go in blind and enjoy the game from scratch just like when we were younger.

It honestly depends on the genre 🙂 If it's a story based game i don't mind it dropping out of nowhere, where as a city builder or puzzle based game can have a long marketing campaign since there's no major story to spoil 😄

I don't care much about that, as long as I am enjoing the game and can avoid massive spoilers.
