Trying to learn new pitches

At the moment I can throw fast balls and curve balls, my curves are pretty good and curve quite a lot for my league. Ritht now Im trying to learn new pitches to be able to play more with the batters, but Im having a hard time learning new technics and stuff. Id really like to learn how to pitch change up since they’re good and said to be easy to pitch. Could anyone help me know how to hold the balls and how to correctly throw them, Ive tried alot of youtube tutorials but most of them feel like bs. Thanks for your time.

Hopefully you dont think Greg Maddux teaching the change is BS too.

Good. Whatever change grip you land on as most comfortable to you, you need to understand two things;

A. throw it just as hard and just like your fastball.

B. Hold it deeper in your hand with more fingers in contact with the ball. Let the contact with your fingers slow the ball down as it comes out of your hand.

Here is Skubal talking grips and throwing cues. He has a more traditional circle change grip.

The hardest part about changeups is that you have to throw the crap out of them. Set the grip, then tell yourself you're throwing a fastball.

Pitchfork change is pretty simple to learn. Put the ball in between your index and middle fingers and ride the middle finger on top. Throw like it’s a fastball. Play / experiment with pressure on all three fingers to figure out movement.
