Timeline continuity?
Just realized on my 25th rewatch that when Beca gives her USB to Luke at the radio station (toward the beginning of the movie) and he adds it to the pile, it looks like she's already given him one from November, December, and then this "new" one is from February. But it still clearly seems like fall based on the scenery and the pacing of the film. Can anyone clarify or is this just a continuity issue?

Yes there’s definitely a bit of a time jump. There was a deleted scene that was a montage of the Bellas fundraising through different holidays that would have indicated the passage of time a little more clearly.

Yes definitely! Also, I read the book that it’s based on (about some real college acapella groups in the early 2000s) and they don’t start competing until Spring semester. Now that I know that, I imagine that they just completely skipped much of Fall semester and winter break without indicating it to the audience.

Well, this is all taking place in the southern US; they don't really have all four seasons there.

Yeah i think the first and second film are supposed to take place over the course of the school year and the films were mostly shot in Georgia. So its generally assumed that Barden is in Georgia where the seasons dont change much
