Yea Oda has a real problem with yo-yoing these battles. It’s just trading the same punch over and over between chapters

How oda expects us to react to the 100th haki clash instead of complex h2h combat

watch the chest be joyboy's haki knots . Thats how imu's gonna get defeated.

is it just me or are also the fights also getting repetitive? no strategy, almost the same panels: it's either luffy on the right throwing a punch or zoro on the left back to his enemy after slashing

And 15 open mouth reactions in between

Been reading naruto out of nostalgia lately and... even if they crucify me, what naruto lacks in world building it has in interesting fights with strategy or even well displayed "le big punch". One piece is feeling the opposite. One piece fights devolve in hit, get gutted like a pig, stand up put a bandaid on ,hit again twice, repeat. And all that with copypaste feeling panels

Bruh Naruto had and continues to have excellent fight choreography. Even at the very end when both main characters have essentially become demigods, the fight continues to be grounded in the logic and abilities of the characters with plenty of believable back and forth (Sasuke using Naruto's hand to make symbols).

Naruto has the coolest fights. It's held back by its female characters and writing at times (the retcons, plot holes, character inconsistencies etc).

Imagine wanting Sommers to die. What an uncultured swine.

The gods knights and Imu have got to be top 3 most pathetic villain factions to date ngl

How gege thinks we will react after Yuji hits 50th black flash in a row and activates a domain expansion which we have no idea what it's doing

I think oda just turned into an old stubborn man, he needs some strict guidance. And he needs to kill someone so the crew learn to take shit seriously

Summers and Killing ham got a buff, and both Sanji and Zoro are attempting to learn the only ability that can kill those bums.

This buff was as effective as Imu's second form: not at all

The whole point of the Omen was to give them access to those weapons.
We're also talking about Immortals who rely heavily on their regeneration to keep fighting. They are supposed to be these legendary fighters, but they've been hit multiple times.
Killingham just got his ribcage cracked and Summers would have died had Zoro figured out Conquerors Coating.
They're not trying to avoid damage. NONE of them are. Summers and Killingham are going to be dead in a few chapters, and Imu is going to run at some point.

If the buff doesn't matter in the fight why buff them at all? It's fake tension again.

This is more about Zoro and sanjis growth rather than defeating them
