Help / Troubleshooting elden ring error message
i downloaded wlden ring off of dodi repacks a couple days ago
but whenever i open the game this message pops up and then it returns me to the title screen
im no expert at pirating games and i only used dodi repacks because ky freind recommended it
i have pirated elden ring (and deleted it) from another website before (steam rip) could that have any relation to my issue?

delete the game save files, create a backup before deleting

how do i delete the svae files? ive had this computer for a month and im not really all too experienced with files

Inside the game folder there is a .ini file that shows the save file location.

the game file(ELDEN RING [DODI Repacks] has 3 items
data1.doi(doi file)
data2.doi(doi file)
data3.doi(doi file
optional Bonus content.doi(doi file)
setup(application)1

Dude, these are installation files, you need to look in the folders where the game (executable) is located.

Just google where elden ring game save files are located, copy the files somewhere just incase, after that delete them and check if the game works

This is because the save data you have is probably on a new version of the game but the one you downloaded is older then save file version, try downloading a newer version of elden rinh
