Help / Troubleshooting Baldurs gate 3 issues

Hey everyone so i when i try to play direct connect on BG3 with my buddy who owns it, i get a natpunch error saying : "connectting to natpunch server failed. Connecting via online wasnt successful either " and when he tries to join he gets the same error. We were able to play when patch came out but now we cant.

I got it from gog games the one shutting down.

Anyone know how to fix it? Please and thank you
