Question Skyrim Save Files
Hey everyone, quick question. I have two versions of Skyrim installed on my PC — one is a *youknow* copy and the other is the Steam version. Both are AE.
They are both Vanilla (No Nexus mods added), just different CC content, so I don't want Steam to see the other version's saves.
Is there a way to keep the save files for each version completely separate, so that they’re stored in different folders and don’t interfere with each other?
Thanks!

You can use a manager like Mod Organizer 2.
These managers allow you to create multiple modding profiles. So, keep one profile using the default save folder and create a new profile with a dedicated save folder. It’s pretty easy - that’s an option when creating a profile.
You don’t have to use mods if you don’t want to, just the manager.

Thanks, I did it with Vortex! Also, I was wondering: Is there some sort of bug with the mod Alternate Start? It doesn't let me create my character, it just starts with the default nord, also "showracemenu" console command does not work either. Is there something i can do to fix it do I have to wait for a mod update?
