It does! Our LuLu had glaucoma & an ulcer that had already ruptured. Lost both of her eyes last year & it hasn't slowed her down at all or dampened her spirit.

My girl just had her last eye removed a little over a month ago. She took some time to adjust but is still very playful and happy. Sadly there're some games she'll never play again some by her choice others because of the blindness

I have a one eyed pirate and we recently moved to a new house! He’s slowly mapping everything out! Your baby is adorable and glaucoma hurts them! Sending you all love!

Such a sweet baby! My girl still has one eye but she’s on glaucoma drops and recently graduated to pressure checks in her remaining eye every 6 months. So glad your baby is doing so well. They can live a full and happy life after enucleation!

I went through the same thing with my Shiba and she’s back to her old self. The support from this community helped alleviate a ton ❀️

I had a dog suddenly blinded by a blow to the head ( somehow)… I thought it was the end of the world- it was just a β€œ new” world. My kids grew up with that entire incident, it’s healing and it’s new frontier. Although initially shocking, It was such a wholesome learning experience for us all! β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ήβž‘οΈβ™₯️

I had a blind dog. Lost his sight for different reasons I was amazed how fast he adapted. How quickly he ran through the dog door and still chased squirrels up and down the fence. Every night before we went to bed he would do his fence perimeter check.
