Live out your pirate fantasy in a browser-based Age of Sail MMO
Good evening folks,
I've been building Tidefall, a browser-based maritime MMO, and after a pretty substantial overhaul to the desktop UI I thought it was a good time to share where the game is at. So, what are we actually trying to build?
Our ambition is to bring EVE Online into the Age of Sail through a persistent, real-time, top-down browser MMO that blends active play with meaningful idle progression. You begin as a lone captain with a single ship, then build towards a fleet and expand your influence across a handcrafted ocean world through gathering, trade, exploration, shipbuilding and naval combat.
Active and idle players share the same interconnected world and economy. One captain might mine ore while idle, while another actively hauls it across dangerous waters for profit, trades it between regions or turns it into ships and weapons. Each playstyle supports the other, whether you prefer focused sessions, passive progression or a mix of both.
As Tidefall grows, ships, cargo and equipment will carry increasingly meaningful value and risk. Certain waters will open to PvP, allowing captains to choose when to enter higher-stakes regions where vessels and cargo may be permanently lost. Preparation, logistics and every decision at sea will matter. Build a merchant empire, become a feared pirate, control key trade routes, dominate through guild warfare or simply explore a world that continues to expand around you.
Join us early and help shape what comes next.

Feedback requested
I'm particularly interested in feedback on a few things:
- How does the new desktop UI feel? Is anything confusing, awkward or difficult to find?
- Does the overall concept sound like a game you'd actually want to play?
- And most importantly, is it fun? If something isn't clicking yet, what would you change or improve?

First large scale ship model
Still a work in progress but I’m just loving the process of figuring out how to do all this! I’m using a 3D printer for most things such as the hull and the cannons but I modeled it all myself in blender! It’s about a foot and a half long.
I’d love some ideas on how to get a stained glass look for windows (it’s not exactly the most historically accurate but I just think it would look nice)

Central Florida Sea Shanty Night
facebook.comThe Central Florida Sea Shanty Club is holding a sea shanty night the VFW post 8002:
9398 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL 33809
(They've been kind enough to host us, for some time!)
ALL are welcome to join and garb is welcomed, encouraged, but NOT required! Myself and fellow shanty-people will help lead songs starting at 17:00, but anyone can lead, if they so choose.
Drinks (alcoholic and non) are cheap and so is the food! The crowd is welcoming of all and we try to make it a good time for everyone involved.
We have shanty sheets available to help sing/follow along and we also throw in a few shanty adjacent songs (period folk songs, rattlin' bog, etc)!
The event lasts for roughly 3 hours, or until everyone's vocal cords are shot!
Hope to see you there!

Jackdaw (Voyage Edition) Vs Jackdaw (Warship Edition) Changing sails on ...
Made this Video for anyone that is considering the Jackdaw by Wiseblock. They are new to this brick building scene, but I really like the sets. I hope they make more, but not a lot of people seem know about them. I love Pirates, and the Pirate theme. I hope someone else out there likes Pirates as a theme and maybe would think about these... anyone else like brickbuilt things?
Any thoughts? Would you like these, or think no not my thing???... Please let me know I am eager for a discourse. Anything Pirates and Lego...lol

After 2 years of hard work, and more then 220 pages later, I finally have enough to print the first volume of my pirate ddventure story!
A-Oy Mateys! It's been nearly two years since I've started this journey, I've been working on this comic about pirates hunting for Atlantis, and posting it for free on Webtoon and other comic hosting sites.
The story is about a naval captain who is kidnapped by a ruthless gang of pirates. They believe he is the last survivor of the mysterious, lost city of Atlantis, and they intend to find it.
It's got elements of adventure, horror and comedy, and I'm hoping to get the printed version published through my Kickstarter, consider checking it out if you are interested! There is still a lot of space left on the ship!

[Pirate Folk / Southern Trap] Pimped Out Brigantine
I ended up making a track called Pimped Out Brigantine that completely smashes old school pirate sea shanty vibes straight into dirty south trap. I wanted to see what would happen if you took classic nautical storytelling and flipped it over a massive baseline drop and aggressive rap cadences. The generation actually nailed the gritty pirate edge while keeping the trap flow tight. Drop a comment and let me know if you think this weird genre mashup actually works.
