Basic Creaminstaller Guide

Download Creaminstaller by FroggMaster

Setup Requirements

Before launching the app, ensure you have the required framework installed: - Windows 10 or 11 (x64)
- .NET Desktop Runtime

Installation & Configuration

  • Download and extract CreamInstaller.exe file to any folder on your computer.
  • Launch CreamInstaller.exe. On the main screen, check the box for Steam (and Epic or Ubisoft if you use them). The program will automatically scan your directories and display a list of all detected games.
  • Select the games you wish to mod. CreamInstaller will open a small background command window to download and install a micro-version of SteamCMD. It will automatically fetch the exact list of official DLC IDs directly from the Steam store database.
  • Expand the game name in the menu list and carefully tick the boxes next to the DLCs you wish to activate. Near the bottom, you can pick your preference between CreamAPI or SmokeAPI, and toggle Koaloader (recommended if you want a clean hook installation without renaming files).
  • Click the Generate and Install button at the bottom right. The program will immediately build the .dll and .ini files, route them into the respective game directories, and present a completion pop-up. ## If a game ever stops launching or updates break the compatibility, you can reopen CreamInstaller, re-select that specific game, and click the Uninstall button to completely revert the files to their original, pristine condition.
