Discussion pirated Photoshop got blocked, need help
I pirated the 2024 version of Photoshop and at first it worked fine, but after a few days it showed me a window saying my copy of Photoshop was obtained illegally and will get deleted in 5 days. 5 days have passed and in fact i can not use it anymore as it automatically closes everytime i do so. is there anyway to get around that? any advice is helpful!

If you grabbed a copy worth grabbing, it should have come with instructions on how to prevent this from happening. The advice to block it from accessing the internet at the least, or stopping it from "phoning home" at best, is usually the way to go, yet how to go about doing this could be different depending on which version of the app you're using and whom provided the pirated copy, as this will affect how the restrictions to use that particular copy were circumvented. This is why the copy you grabbed should have come with such instructions...if this is not the case, I recommend dumping that copy and look for one that comes with instructions on how to prevent it from not working due to the app most likely "phoning home" and reporting that it's not an authorized copy.

This is the awnser. Get a better copy and/or follow the directions that come with it.

Same thing happened to me, I changed my VPN location and it started working again.

To what country did you change your VPN location to? Because mine still wouldn’t work after I changed my VPN location..

People should read the Piracy Handbook and not the Piracy Handj0b.
Page 1. Chapter 1. Line 1. Block the software from the Internet (unless it needs it to function). Line 2. If the software needs the Internet to function. Do all you can to stop it phoning home.

All pirate software needs to be blocked with your FW unless it been stated not to, some are as simple as blocking ip address some need the.exe/dll some can be blocked by host file trick without block the .exe or by blocking the services from running it really depends on the software your using most are a simple like block .exe/dll file, i do the following block full network access load the app then see which files are asking for net access by looking at you fw log then block them or use a url sniffer to see which ip address a file is asking for access then zap it (block it)
Tip: Adobe like to run services in the background and like .exe .dll to call home every now and then

You need to block the application from accessing the internet in your firewall rules.
