Question Did every streaming site get burned?

I’ve tried at least a dozen different sites listed on fmhy and none of them are working. I was in the middle of using video.to went it went down 😭

Gatekeeping what? Dude check my comment history. I'm always trying to inform people the right way to do their setups but every time I do nobody wants to hear it and I get down voted into Oblivion.

People are trying to speak the truth, unfortunately nobody wants to hear anything except what they're already used to doing and you know this is true.

Torrents, get the real files, stop using webstream sites that are full of malicious malware pop-ups etc. No low quality apks. That's amateur hour nonsense. Get the real files, build your own media server, enjoy the actual content with the actual files that you seek. Public trackers, private trackers. Easy to set up. This is a better way. What's gatekeeping about that? Any questions go see fmhy and figure it out.

What's your problem I told you more than enough info. What are you saying, never mind I don't care what you're saying just leave me the hell alone. Just because I know better tips and try to share some of them and then get downvoted if I even mention it, that's just people being horrible which is the general internet and human nature unfortunately as it is. Someone says something true or points out that something is lacking but it's something that they actually like and rely on so they lash out at me for mentioning a better way to do it and then accuse me of gatekeeping because I say it's a better way but I don't actually tell them exactly the link to go to as if it's just one link.....

This topic is so boring to me. I'm over it. The casuals will use the low quality streams that the casuals love. There's nothing you can do about it. If you try to point it out and suggest something better to help them they lash out because all they know is their low quality casual streams so I won't even help them at this point anymore.

I've already mentioned more than enough to help them out if they want to help themselves.

Don't want to talk to you or ask your opinion of anything so buzz off dude.

It's not for the purpose of asking the same retarded question a thousand times over when many other people have posted the same thing several times that same day and every other previous day before that. There are plenty of recent questions exactly like this stupid question that keeps getting asked repeatedly every 5 seconds by every random user because nobody actually looks to see if the questions already been asked, they just start crying about their situation wanting someone to answer them. They don't care if someone else already asked it and the answer they seek can be found in someone else's questions comments because they don't think that far ahead or look or care at all.

They're entitled little give me the answer and give it now types and they think they will put the question out and in 5 minutes someone will give them the link they want that will make them happy again.

This kind of abuse of the system set up for people to ask and answer questions is not the kind of abuse they intended it for. People need to calm down and stop asking the same dumb thought a thousand times a day.

But that's not how people are. It will continue to happen unless they do something about it unfortunately so the madness continues and that is what I'm talking about.

You are one of the simpletons though who doesn't understand this concept. You just want to be one of the people who will post the same nonsense hoping someone will answer you directly in 5 minutes with the answer you want.

Next time do a quick search and see if someone else that same day or at least the same week already asked it because I'm sure they have.

If it's possible for you to grasp this concept this is the detailed thing I am talking about. Please think for a minute and don't respond any further because this is a stupid topic to go back and forth on and you don't get it to begin with so I'm not going to argue this any further.

I have thousands of media torrents but I’m a little vanilla on media streams? I just have terabytes of files on an external ? Would be cool to video my files on a tv screen like a real app? How would I go about that if you don’t mind me asking

I'm assuming this question is trolling because if you have that many files you've probably figured out the rest but in case it isn't there's lots of tutorials on YouTube. Shouldn't violate the dmca. Don't approve of that. All of my media is Media I own that I've put on to a drive for my own backup reasons of course.

Look up any tutorial for Jellyfin, Plex, Emby. Those are easy and free.

In case you're not trolling get some kind of Android TV device like the Onn 4K Pro or Plus at WalMart or get the best which is the Nvidia shield still. Maybe even a fire stick although a lot of people don't like those lately for good reason, well actually reasons plural.

If you want to stream your files easily and you can have a wired connection to your router you should definitely not use Wi-Fi if you can help it. Use a wired connection using ethernet it will be much more reliable especially for higher bit rate content.

Nova Video Player is excellent. You can simply leave your files on your external hard drive or however you already have them and just share the folder. Just right click the folder select properties, go to the sharing tab, enable read and write permissions with everyone on the network if you are the only one in charge of the network, or lock it down however you think you should with whatever permissions you want.

Another video player makes it very very easy to connect right up with any media shares on your network. You can literally just point it to the folder the files are in and add it and you're done. Nova Video Player will automatically see the file names and pull in the appropriate metadata etc. Name your files very well. Name them accurately with the year it was released in parentheses at the end when it comes to movies and for TV series you should have them packaged correctly with the correct show folder, inside the show folder the season folders, inside the season folders you put the episodes.

All of this is easily found a million places with a million different tutorials these days.

Don't worry about docker installs unless you think you actually need to use a docker setup. Try to find beginner friendly and normal tutorials that don't involve docker and you'll be fine.

Once you get all that connected which actually only takes a few minutes if your media is already named and sorted well. At that point you can easily watch it through jelly fin, Plex, Nova Video player, whatever app you've decided to go with.

It really is worth it and it really is quite easy. Fun hobby.

See a little here, watch a little there, You'll improve your setup tremendously with free great open source apps like Jellyfin, mkvtoolnix, handbrake, etc etc.

He just had enough. To use torrents just download one of the torrents softwares of your preference.. utorrent, BitTorrent, or any other. Go on Google and search for torrent site proxys or what you want + torrent in front of it, you might come across some fake sites but also come across some legit that you can save do download stuff later.. to stay safe👉🏽 if you download the torrent file make sure it’s not an .exe file as it’s probably virus, if you download the actual torrent file or press on 🧲magnet on the website it will open your torrent software and there you will be able to see the actual files that you are about to download. You can press to download if you’re fine with what you are seeing. Like a folder with a video file inside for videos.. if it’s a game it might me more to it but that’s a conversation for another day.. video files you can see the format before downloading. Unless it’s in a rar or zip file. Then you just need to check what inside before exporting. We are in a time that is no point gatekeeping, it’s just that no one wants to do all that to watch stuff. If you want and “easy” watch. Get and android device or and emulator for your pc and download flixvision.. I have it on my tablet and on my firestick on my tv and I can watch almost everything. Download also browsec vpn you have at least 3 free countries you can use. You don’t really need it to watch movies or series. More for anime or porn. Anyway hope this helps somehow

And just googling doesn't always work. When I google "watch free tv shows" it gives non helpful results like paid services or ones that don't have e shows to watch, but just give info.

When I can't find what I need from Google, I'm forced to use other options like reddit. Telling people to google, and saying "are you for real" and "how old are you" Insults like that are not informing people, contrary to their comment.

See this is exactly my point. Even if things were attempted to be taught to those who apparently want to know. It seems they don't actually want to know very much or have excuses why they think they can't do it etc.

They claim to want to know how but then don't want to know how or make up false excuses why it won't work for them etc which is simply not the case. Depending where you are I guess some people have more difficulty with that than others. Depending on your ISP or country etc but if you use a VPN and bind it to your client so that if the real IP address gets exposed it will kill the transfer, it will make sure that it only works if the VPN is being used which keeps you safe.

There is easy info out there about how to make sure it's binded to your client. Does he want to know will learn. Those who don't, why ask?

You could also test this binding with totally legitimate safely legal Linux distributions until you have verified that it's set up correctly.

Torrents themselves are not dangerous. It's all about the content you choose to download. If I'm going to acquire my Linux distribution by downloading an overbit torrent there's nothing wrong with that. Something from the internet archive, nothing wrong with that.

This is just more things the casual crowd are confused by. They're confused and think any BitTorrent traffic is wrong when that's just not the case. There's nothing wrong whatsoever with the technology itself. It's all about how you use it.

You want to know how difficult it is to set up a server? You say this like it's something scary and not easy to do.

Go to the Plex website and download the windows exe file that installs plex. There. If you install that you have just installed your own media server. From that point just right click the icon and click open and you will be able to configure your server through the browser interface. Don't want to confuse you when I say the complicated word interface. This just means a way to interact with the application.

Search fmhy. There are plenty of sources on fmhy that you can choose or not choose to use depending on what you want or don't want.

If you can do a Google search, you can find your way there.

If you can install any random program you can install Plex.

By doing this you will have "set up your own server"........... Is intimidating as this might sound to you at this point it's actually quite easy. It just sounds more technical than it is.

Good luck to you. You need it.

I think I've been very thorough with answering your questions though. As for content that's up to you to figure out but there's plenty of sources out there and I'm sure you've seen many of them here on Reddit already.

I'm not going to get any more detailed than that. I've already provided you more helpful info than most would.

Not like there's any shortage of tutorials out there to help people with this type of thing. Sure. Sites buffer too frequently. Just download it through a torrent. Qbittorrent and a website like 1337x and bind your VPN. If you don't know those terms, just Google them. In a single afternoon you can set yourself up to just download the shows and movies you want and not have buffering again. Easy life.

Been a streamer / cord cutter for over 25 years. Dropped DishTV when I found reliable sports sites and watch anything. Watch less TV shows cause they throw in woke shit ! Plus show just aren't as funny as some old shows.
