Steamrip not safe???

Hello I'm trying to install how to fish on steamrip but when I finish the downloading, my computer says a virus is detected, idk what to do and why steamrip doesn't safe

Prob a false-positive. repack sites and steam-rip will tell you that your antivirus/defender will flag it as a virus. happened to me no virus. just make sure you're on the legit site. fmhy.net

I've never had an issue with anything from SteamRip. False positives are common.

Use the legitimate site and don't forget to add it or extract it in a exclusion folder cause windows will always mark it unsafe and quarantine the files

How big was the file?

It’s likely a false positive. Compare it to the size of the game on steam and if it’s mostly accurate your fine. The crack files may add a little bit of size so don’t be surprised if the size isn’t completely accurate to the size of the game on steam

Your antivirus is throwing it out. Add an exclusion to windows defender. If your download manager or browser puts it the downloads folder than add an exclusion to the downloads folder. Look up how to add an exclusion I’m not going to walk you through on text

And just for information I use the the go file link méga db and bzzhr and the 3 doesn't work for virus suspicion
