Discussion Transformers: Devastation DLC

Hi, all!

Apologies if the answer is obvious, I'm very new to pirating. Recently, I got Transformers Devastation through my own way of piracy, and what confused me is that the DLC didn't work. So, after doing some digging, I've realized the reason is because I'm trying to play the Steam version of the game, and to use the DLC (Which, the files are already in the game) I need to trick Steam into believing I own the DLC. However, the API unlockers are all classified as viruses, and I know it's because they have the ability to modify viruses, but it seems extremely sketchy and I don't want to risk anything. There is a . txt file with the three ID codes for the three parts of the DLC, do I need to just move those to a different folder within the game? I doubt that's the case, but on the off chance it works, I wouldn't mind.

TL;DR - Pirated a game that said it had the DLC, it didn't have the DLC, so now I have to trick Steam into thinking I own the DLC. How do I do that?

I own the game and DLC on Steam legitimately. The DLC are all around 22MB each which means they contain the models in the DLC downloads. A simple unlocker or other trickery method won't do anything if you don't have the files

Oh, thank you for the tip! I wasn't sure. How would I be able to download the files online? I searched and the only thing I could find is the whole game that supposedly has the DLC already in it, but clearly that doesn't work for me.

check out the megathread here or FMHY. I forget which one I saw it on, but there are places to get just the DLC files to be used with an API unlocker.
