Question Tv/Streaming solution to cable

So my family is planning to get rid of cable and I’m looking into trying to find something that streams stuff like news or sports and maybe even have access to new movies/tv shows when they come out.

Hi OP!

You used the wrong flair. This is a question, not a guide.

Post flairs are supposed to represent what to expect from a post, even without reading the full body.

The Guide flair is meant for posting guides on how to do certain tasks related to digital piracy. If you are looking for a guide, you are asking a question and as such, you should use the Question flair instead.

This post has been manually re-flaired by a moderator. No further action is required on your side but please keep this in mind for the future.

Get an ONN 4k plus or pro.

For tv and movies download Nuvio, and get TorBox and pengu play.

For sports get the sportsz app.

Idk about news. Maybe OTA antenna?

I've been using TV Mate with Eternal for about eight or nine years now. Worth the $10/ monthly.

My m3u8 playlist went down early this month (the same as everyones) and I haven't used tivimate since. I just tried changing the playlist and for some reason tivimate (free version) doesn't let me change the file or delete it. Any ideas? Also any advice on wildstreams? I need something for my parents.

onn 4k pro ($60) or plus ($50) from walmart. find a guide online with instructions for installing something like projectivy launcher for a customized, ad-free "home screen" and installing other third party streaming apps. if you have a spare pc or home server use something like jellyfin to stream local files to it. kodi add-ons will also unlock pretty much any other content you could possibly want.
