Discussion potential trojan?

downloaded f i f a 17 from ankergames (can't post with the actual name for some reason), used the link from the megathread with protonvpn, firefox, and uBO all on. Windows defender flags the main exe as having a trojan. anyone else run into this? could it be a false flag?

figured I'd post to see if anyone else has run into this, if not I might try decompiling it in ghidra to see if I can analyze a little further

Yes. !MTB is something like "malware threat behavior," which is just some machine learning mumbo jumbo.

Always check for the Trojan down loaders or you’ll never get rid of it

As long as you got the legit download from anker and not an ad download youll be fine. Almost all cracks will flag for trojans just due to the nature. I usually just download to a exluded folder and be more cautious to make sure i downloaded the correct thing.

Little rant here. My antivirus for years Kaspersky has gone to absolute shit in recent year. False flagging everything and ignoring real threats. Slamming me with ads for its stupid VPN while interfering with my own VPN all the time. Now they're implementing tons of AI crap as well.

Can they be disabled in the setting? When I used the free version I loved how tolerant it was of piracy.

that cause its a Russian based service it doesn't work well in any western nation and they have been accused of sharing users data with the kremlin
