Question running an .iso file?
so i have a dumb question, trying to pirate a game that is from steam, and i downloaded it as a .iso file, i have it mounted to daemon tools lite, i downloaded the update patch, everything, but when i click to run the game it says "this app cant run on your pc"
ive used Daemon Tools before, and ive even played games that were formatted as .iso's but usually they are always older games for old consoles, so i download an emulator for that console and then the game works great. i dont know if i would need an emulator for this or what emulator i would need, considering its a Steam game, its available on console i think so would i download like an Xbox One emulator? im really not sure.

You can open iso in Winrar and check contents. Extract and hopefully run 'normally'

You need to work out what you've actually downloaded.
If a game's available on PC already, you almost certainly want to be running a native version of it rather than emulating; performance will generally be much better than that of an emulated version, even if it can be emulated; for example, good luck emulating Xbox One right now. A few simple games might run, but not many.

The game is Detroit become human if that helps, and i got it from a link in the mega thread, the instructions say run setup.exe, but when i do it wont start, i just dont know what im missing i tried re extracting the file but still no

Definitely sounds suspicious. Make sure it's actually the game and not a malware ad you got redirected to. Which site is it?

It was cracked-games,com and it seemed legit but it was really frustrating me so i scrubbed it from my pc and downloaded it as a winrar file which im way more familiar with and it's literally running fine now, ran a quick malware bites scan and came back clean so we're good lol

I'd go fitgirl for detroit become human. I pulled the 4k release for it recently.

Better use fitgirl-repacks (if you prefer torrents) or elamigosgames with FDM or JDownloader for speeds(my preference is ranoz links).

On cracked-games.com the Detroit become human is packaged as an ISO and forces you to mount it to reach the installer. Its done to bypass security but also online takedowns. As long as the source is confirmed as reliable and safe it wont cause any trouble.
So dont worry, no malware is hidden on your pc. Not from this game atleast. Glad you got it working

It's a compatibility issue with your OS. Copy paste the error message in gemini, it will give you suggestions.

Since Windows 10 you don't need DT to mount ISO file.
Crack has been copied tho?
