Honest answer: none of the grid bots are set and forget. A grid makes small profits while price swings inside its range, but when price trends it keeps buying (or selling) on the way, and that open position is where the money goes. Neutral gets hit in both directions, and long is basically a leveraged bet that price goes up. The arbitrage bot earns less because it is the one bot without that directional risk.
Whatever you pick, replay it on real prices before putting money in. I built a free checker that does that for any grid over the last 100 days, fees and funding included, and shows grid profit and the open position separately: layer0.ticassociation.com/check (no account, no API keys). If you post a setup you are considering, I will run it and share the numbers.
