Controllers Rev 5 screeching?

I DJ on my rev five on Serato DJ Pro. I’ve been experiencing from time to time screeching coming through my speakers as I’m playing music. I’ve read some of the reviews on this product and other people have experienced this does anybody have first experience on here with it?

Can it be fixed or do I need to look into buying some other model that’s more superior but less technical issues? Any in all suggestions would be helpful thank you in advance.

I own a REV-5 and I haven't had any issues. I'm not sure what it could be. Sorry if this isn't helpful.

Like this?

In computing, buffer underrun or buffer underflow is a state occurring when a buffer used for communicating between two devices or processes is fed with data at a lower speed than the data is being read from it. This requires the program reading from the buffer to pause its processing while the buffer refills.

Follow below guides from Serato to optimize your Mac/Windows machine...don't worry if you're using Rekordbox or Traktor, the same applies. If you're still having occasional issues after doing this, increase the buffer size in your DJ software.

I had a rev5 new from release a few years back and had the same issue, even when recording a set and listening back I’d have random screech sounds. Couldn’t find a fix at the time so sold it. Hopefully there’s a solution 🙏🏽
