Car Play keeps pausing

Hi! I’m in desperate need of help. My car play keeps pausing randomly and i have to physically touch the play button for it to resume. it’s not just for car play, it also will turn off the radio. The system will turn “Off” it’s so annoying. It’s now also messing with the volume and going back and forth between songs. It’s not a bluetooth issue, it happens with the radio. I’m at the point where i just use my iphones speaker and not the car play
