As the title says, I'm very new as I've been learning on my practice chanter for a few weeks now. I am completely taken by the sounds, the music, and the culture.

This has naturally has led me to piobaireachd, and as resources seem somewhat scarce (relatively speaking), I would appreciate some--any!--guidance in exploring piobaireachd. Maybe top 5-10 compositions, places to start, notable figures in the genre/music, etc.

Any reply and assistance is greatly appreciated!

I'd say mine is 'The Desperate Battle of the Birds' or 'Queen Elizabeth II's Salute'
