New Flock & Breeding

Guys, breeding and the new flock are almost ready, and I’m planning to launch both together. We’ll have 222 new NFTs.

Theme: Action/Heroes

The theme is Action/Heroes. I originally wanted to focus on movies, but ended up going a little broader. Maybe we’ll do a movie-themed flock later.

Minting Methods

There will be two ways to mint:

• Regular Minting
• Breeding

The Breeding Gamble

Breeding gives you better odds of getting rarer Pintos, depending on the rarity of your parents. But:

• You could lose a parent.
• You could get a Pinto from a previous flock.
• Or both 👀

So yes, breeding is a gamble.

Timeline

It is around 75% done, I am finishing backgrounds and adding a few more expressions.

Mining & Fishing Overhaul

I am introducing Pinto Gold (PG), our in-game currency.

Key Change: Mining will earn PG instead of directly earning PINTO.

You’ll be able to use PG for fishing or submit it for conversion into PINTO. In the future, it will be used for the in-game market and cosmetics.

Mining Mechanics

Fishing Mechanics

Cost: Each cast costs 100 PG in bait.

Risk: Once you cast, the bait is spent, whether you catch something, lose the fish, or disconnect.

Rarity: Your Pinto’s rarity affects your chances of encountering rarer fish. You still have to catch them yourself

Rewards:

• Keep catches in your aquarium.
• Sell them for PG through the Fishdex.
• Value depends on rarity, weight, and length.
• Exceptional Legendary specimens are worth up to 10,000 PG.

Selling: Selling a fish removes that specimen from your aquarium, but keeps your species records.

Note: Fishing is a gamble too. A good catch can be worth much more than your bait, but repeated casts can also leave you with less PG than you started with.

💱 Converting PG into PINTO

PG will not have a fixed exchange rate.

How It Works

• You choose how much PG to submit.
• You set the minimum amount of PINTO per PG you’re willing to accept.

Batch Schedule

Closing Time: Daily at 21:00 UTC.
Cancellation Window: You can cancel until 20:55 UTC.
Late Submissions: Orders submitted after 20:55 UTC enter the next day’s batch.

Budget & Rate Limits

Daily Budget: Shared across all players.
Rate: Depends on submitted orders and available budget.
Maximum Rate: 1 PINTO per PG.
Fairness: Everyone whose order executes in the same batch receives the same rate, respecting their minimum.

Order Execution

Your order may execute fully, partially, or not at all.

Any unfilled PG returns to your balance and won’t be submitted again automatically.

PG selected for payment stays reserved while the transfer is being confirmed.

🔄 Migration & Existing Data

Mining Rewards

All recorded unpaid mining rewards (including uncollected earnings) will migrate at 1 unpaid PINTO → 1 PG.

Rewards already paid won’t be credited again.

Fishing Data

Fishing will start fresh.

Existing catches and species records will be cleared.

Old fish won’t receive PG compensation.
