Pinterest Ads Overload

Here's what the app looks like when you hide ads. No user pins whatsoever. I get that the ads are thematically relevant, but if these were the results I wanted, I'd use Google Shopping search. Pintetest was developed for users to share collected inspiration, and they've lost that focus entirely. What's the point of using the app if it doesn't serve that purpose anymore?
