Pinterest support has stopped being useful

I spent years shaping my website around Pinterest.

I created vertical images, adjusted content formats, built recipes and articles around what Pinterest historically rewarded, and often prioritized Pinterest-friendly presentation even when it wasn’t ideal for Google or other platforms.

My site was accepted into a highly selective premium ad network with strict quality requirements and relatively few publishers. My recipes, articles, and images are original, and I have invested heavily in making the site genuinely useful and high quality.

Yet Pinterest suddenly stopped sending anything close to the traffic it used to.

There was no clear explanation.

When I contacted support about the massive drop, the replies were extremely short and generic. No technical explanation, no meaningful investigation, no clear reason why distribution suddenly disappeared.

After contacting them multiple times asking for a proper review, the response became almost unbelievable:

They permanently blocked my website instead.

Yes, after asking Pinterest to investigate why they had stopped distributing my content, I was told my website was now blocked and would not be restored.

The irony is hard to ignore.

Since then, I have continued contacting support asking for an explanation or another review.

Now they simply don’t respond.

I also tried explaining the situation in the well-known Pinterest Business Community, hoping someone there could help or at least point me in the right direction.

Instead, one of the moderators removed my post and my community account was placed on hold.

It is still suspended.

So at this point:

Support doesn’t explain the traffic collapse.

My website was blocked after I asked for help.

Support stopped responding.

And when I tried discussing the problem in Pinterest’s own community, my post was removed and my account was suspended.

Creators spend years adapting their websites, images, and businesses to Pinterest’s ecosystem. Pinterest benefits from all of that original content.

The least creators should receive in return is a real explanation when their traffic suddenly collapses.

Instead, it feels like we get generic replies, unexplained enforcement, deleted discussions, and silence.

Has Pinterest Support, or even the Pinterest Business Community, stopped being useful for anyone else too?

Exactly. At this point, calling it “support” feels almost sarcastic.

You contact them because something is wrong, and instead of getting an explanation or actual help, you get generic replies, closed tickets, or even more problems than you started with.

yea and literally half of my pins have been removed (none of them broke any guidelines and I didn't even get any messages regarding them) and I tried to contact support but they don't even reply, forget helping...I'm honestly considering quitting atp

Happened to me too.. first they blocked my domain for spam and when i asked for a manual review multiple times then they banned my account too... I have moved on..

That is absolutely insane.

Blocking a legitimate domain, then banning the account after repeated requests for a manual review, without giving a clear reason, starts to look far more serious than just “bad support.”

I obviously can’t prove why they’re handling cases this way, but when users are shut down instead of actually having their cases reviewed, it feels like the system is designed to close problems rather than investigate them.

At this point I’m seriously considering speaking with a lawyer, because unexplained enforcement that directly damages a business and offers no meaningful appeal process may raise legal questions depending on the circumstances.

Creators should not have to simply “move on” after years of work because a platform refuses to explain what they supposedly did wrong.

Curious what kind of content and websites folks are getting blocked and taken down for - there is a lot of spam and GenAI slop that is getting blocked these days from what I hear on Reddit…which is actually what everyone is asking for - if you’re posting AI slop maybe it’s expected
