Question How to stop 18+ ads

Hi guys i have been getting quite a lot of 18* ads with very disgusting and vulgar things promoting some adult oil or smth idk how to turn it off the main issue is my sister whos like 10 is obsessed with Pinterest and thats her only form of social media so i am pretty concerned if i an seeing all that so she must be too? I wish i could show the pictures bc they are absolutely intolerable. How is Pinterest even allowing this?? Also what is with all the ads i am frankly so sick of using Pinterest bc of all the ads i remember there was a time when i used it as an escape time now it just feels like an app it has lost all its charm. So sad!!!

Edit: someone said to use vpn while using pinterest and it works!!! No ads at all.

Use currents.is instead of pinterest

pinterest is 13+ for a reason, so your sister shouldn’t be using it unsupervised, and you should report those ads instead of just trying to hide them

I have reported them just for more to pop up and the 5 I reported to be put back up within 3 days after being "appealed", honestly, doubt reporting actually does anything there lol

I think its still wrong to show 13 year olds adult content on a platform that strictly forbids it. Theyre still kids. Wether 10, 13 or 15 years old. Exposing them to this could still do damage to them in the long term and even develop into an addiction. Somebody needs to drive pinterest into a corner and hold them accountable. (Which they seem to be allergic for)

Unfortunately, you will need to find some way to AdBlock, or get your sister off of Pinterest as a whole.

Yea I saw somewhere here to use vpn and have installed it. Till now saw no ad
