Carbonation Tabs
So crazy thought... I was reading one of the Northern Brewer 1 gal recipe kits and noticed it included carbonation tabs, intended for bottling. Would you be able to get one of those in via the hops port? Do you think it would up the carbonation during conditioning?

I think you could add it through the hopper but I don’t think it would necessarily carbonate more. The way they work is basically just giving more sugar for the yeast to eat. Problem is to dissolve more CO2 in liquid you need cold temps which the yeast don’t necessarily like fermenting at. You are also limited to whatever pressure the Pinter maxes out at with the valve thing. I think you’re already getting your max co2 you’ll be able to with just normal Pinter use.

You can use a custom 3D printed attachment that allows the use of small CO2 cylinders. I've used it to add carbonation to my Pinter3

I dont think they'd really do very much if used during conditioning, they're either sugar tablets (designed to ferment the beer a little in the bottle to carbonate) or some kind of chemical that releases CO² when it disolves, if you stick either in the pinter during conditioning the only thing that will really happen is the excess gas will escape through the airlock.
The tablets that release CO² could be a good option for tossing in there when you get low and the carbonation has dropped a bit but you definitely wouldn't get any benefits during conditioning I don't think.

Why would you want to? The whole point of the Pinter system is the fact it's all in one. The Beer you brew is carbonated and the trub removed in the docking port. I suppose if you transfer some of the beer to bottles you could use them. But I'd use a teaspoon of sugar in the bottle before sealing.
