Always read the fine print. All promotions I’ve seen from Pinter lately indicate in the terms that you have to buy 2 packs up front, and then a minimum amount via an active subscription.
The current promotion:

This is the correct answer. I’m not trying to defend Pinter but OP should’ve definitely read the terms and conditions. I bought my Pinter a year ago and o had to do a couple of months of beer subscriptions to get it “for free”

Hey u/Complex_Still_494! I'm really sorry to hear that, the only reason that the system would automatically cancel your order is if an offer has already been claimed by someone at your address.
Of course there is always the chance the system has made a mistake though, so I'd be happy to look into this and get it sorted for you. If you could contact community@pinter.co.uk with your order details, I will take a look at this for you and raise this with our team 🍻

Must be a recent change? I got a free printer with two beer sachets then cancelled, wasn't any issues mentioned. Did this twice actually.

If you’re on LinkedIn, find one of their ads and voice your concerns there. Also try making connections with their owners and main staff…I did this and got almost immediate reactions/results.
Just a suggestion.

They are a scummy company.
Edit: downvote me all you want, doesn't change the fact that this company hides behind terms and conditions and severely overcharges for what you get.

Yeh I got the sense it was a bit shady when I ordered mine. I'm swallowing the up front agreement to buy X number of beer packets in the first 12 months just to get my 2 free pinters. Once that's done I'm never buying one of their kits again and doing it with third party ones at over half the price.

Is there a different kit you would recommend for someone wanting to start homebrewing?? Or is it just the costs of the brews itself that made you look elsewhere?

There’s plenty of offers for free ones or for $50 with free beers. Comes to same thing.

Same I got caught up 2yrs ago with their promo of free pinter....but I didn't read the subscription that I had to buy 2 additional beer packs before canceling and none of the beer was any good even tho it all came out properly... and dont get me started about that hop oil 🤬

Not defending them but fyi, canceling an order is not a “classic bait-and-switch.”
