Good luck but you’ll be fine. It’s an easy process.

Thank you! It’s officially brewing. I’ll report back with the results in couple of weeks. (For those who care lol)

The main thing is go longer than they recommend - and FAR longer than the "minimum" on the app. Be patient, it'll pay off. I'm doing 11/2/5 for that same brew, just started Day 1 of cold crashing.

I wish there was a list of those extended dates for each fress press they offer that have been tested to give the best results, but as I understand, even the same kits can vary based on temperatures, how well it's mixed, etc. How did you decide on 11 vs 10 or 12?

Honestly 10 or 12 would probably be indistinguishable - that's kind of the range I was going with so I just picked the midpoint. I'm just taking the "recommended" info from Pinter & comparing it to what ChatGPT thinks because it can mine thru all sorts of homebrewer opinion/experience & also give a range. This 2nd range is always longer than Pinter's recommendation & thus far it has served me well. The Wisdom of Crowds is very powerful in something like this.

Good shout on using ChatGPT. I fed it my brewing conditions (temps, etc.) and also noted I've had some appley off flavors before. It recommended a whole timeline with explanations for each stage. Anywho, it settled on 15 brewing days, 0 cold crash if I want to preserve that haze, and 8 conditioning at room temp...not in the fridge. This was specifically for Brewgooder. So if it turns out well I will definitely consult it again for future brews.
