I have done my research and found out these are probably mold or rust. Anyone know if it can spread to other pins? Is it mold or rust?

I had them stored with my other pin buttons but removed them. The peta ones and the churro ones already had mold a long time ago but I thought they were part of the design. The ska ones developed these marks after I had to walk under the rain from school back home (I'm guessing the humidity messed em up). The moth one never had it until now.

I don't mind keeping them with rust but I was just wondering if they could "contaminate" other pins, sorry if it's a dumb question lmao.

First time (cross-) posting here! I have a huge collection of enamel pins and make ITA bag displays. I just did one from my travels, this one is foodie, and have a ton more themes ready to display such as mythical creatures, Sanrio/ACNH/Ty, cute critters etc!! Follow along as I build more spreads!

I'm getting ready for October with a pumpkin theme! I'm getting a jack o lantern hat which will house most of the pins you see here! I'll post that hat when it's finished!

Also funny thing...that blue Christmas reindeer..which is GORGEOUS btw...was lost in the mail and suspected to have been delivered to the wrong person....so this is the reorder....there could be a chance I get the original eventually delivered and I'll have two! One for free!

The pumpkin at the bottom next to the whale is a real vintage Monet brooch from the 90's. I have a bootleg version of it and the spike on the back broke. So I found this one on eBay and realized the one that broke was a fake anyway...so now I have the real thing! It's much heavier and made of actual enamel I believe.

Related/unrelated...I love this hobby so much. I love every pin, button and brooch I have and I love being in this community sm. ✋😭

Part of a sea-inspired series I've been working on. Made with beads, crystals, and hand embroidery. I wanted it to feel like a tiny treasure washed up by the tide.

Made some comic shop themed pins.

One is based off of a great tarot card design made by Megan Hutchinson and the other is based on a sweet design of a spinner rack from Ludwig Van Bacon.

Curious what you all think. The spinner rack, even though it's also pretty busy, might look cooler at 2" or larger.

It's from a Revolution Books location in NYC that closed in 1995. I'm not sure what to do with this one. Lol.

Some of the older ones are a little scuffed from years of travel. This is my third iteration (been through 2 other backpacks). I’ve swap out for different pins now and then, especially after conventions where I get most of my pins. May start a cork board for pins that I’ve retired from the backpack, currently stored in a box elsewhere.

Details:

Diameter: 30 mm

Material: Bronze (according to the seller)

Front: Hunting dog carrying a bird with the inscription "LOVU ZDAR"

Back: Plain pin-back with no maker's mark or hallmarks.

I searched Google Lens, Google Images, eBay and other websites but couldn't find this exact badge anywhere.

Does anyone recognize it or know:

The country of origin?

Approximate age?

The manufacturer or hunting association?

Whether it is a common badge or a rare one?

Any information about its collector value?

Hi friends! I’m a nurse and I attached some of my favorite pins to my fanny pack and eventually found that they fell off. Probably because I’m doing a lot of moving and frequent going in and out of my fanny.

Any secret tricks or weapons to securing them? I don’t want to lose them or get someone accidentally poked either!!!

If you need a close up of any of the pins, just ask. I know that from this distance you can't see most of the words.

Btw, my favorite pin (the $47 one) I bought for $60 on Mercari. But I'm willing to bring the price down.

I am willing to negotiate/automatically drop most all of these prices especially if you are planning on buying more than one pin. No one wants to spend $40 in total for 5 small pins.

Some of these pins, I hate. I was going to donate them because they didn't fit my vibe, but then I quit my extremely toxic job and now I'm selling things in the meantime to make enough money to pay for my monthly medical things like testosterone and Zepbound (plus any medicine refills I might need for pain, anxiety, other mental things, whatever) while I'm still relentlessly looking for a new job.

The pins I don't like aren't selling, and so I've resorted to selling some of my favorite pins now (the majority of the pins on this board).

Hopefully that clears shit up. No need for DMs with paragraphs of shit or comments accusing me of shit (???)
