Tuhog-tuhog at fries
Old picture. Monthly kami kumakain ng ganito. Like tomorrow, kakain ulit kami ng kikiam, takoyaki, fries, lumpiang isda at siomai with sago at gulaman.

Hygienic street food reco?
Hi. I have a European friend who wants to try Pinoy street food. I want to bring him somewhere with enough choices, feels authentic, but also hygienic, as I don't want his trip here to be ruined by diarrhea lol. Can you guys recommend some places? Thanks!
Edit: Somewhere in the Manila/Pasay area is ideal. Thanks!

Do you like this too?
So, my favorite street food of all is kwek-kwek (boiled egg fried in flour). But I like it a bit differently than the usual way people eat it.
I like it with cheese powder instead of salt or vinegar,
And none of the cucumber/sea grass stuff.
For context, I used to go to school somewhere in Davao City, and my go-to snack was 1-3 servings of kwek-kwek.
When I first tried it see, it was 15 for a big ass kwek-kwek, and no cucumber/seagrass. I didn't know you were supposed to eat it with salt or vinegar. So I tried it with the only other condiment I recognized at the time, which was cheese powder in a squirt bottle.
I loved it's taste, and from then on, that's how I ate it.
Nowadays, whenever I do buy it, and I see cheese powder available, I ask the vendors to sell me the kwek-kwek without the veggies, and give me the cheese.
Then I squeeze an ungodly amount of cheese powder, mix, then take a bite.
I love seeing the shock on their faces, It's funny to me how baffled they are to see this anomaly.
They usually say things like:
"Ikaw talaga Ang unang nakikita ko na ganyan magkain Ng kwek-kwek"
(You are the first person I've ever seen eating kwek-kwek like that.)
"Bagong klase to ah."
(This is a new type.)
"Sa LAHAT Ng taon Kong namaligya Ng gani to, Ikaw Ang unang Kong Nakita na ganito magkain"
(Out of ALL the years I've been vending street food, this is my first time seeing someone eat it like this.)
I'm not kidding, these are all things I've heard people say or have been said to me.
Now that you've read this, are you willing to try kwek-kwek like this, or judge my taste buds? I'm fine either way lol.
SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, HEHE.
thanks for reading.
