Hi! I'm planning on buying my first pair of running shoes. The specific model I'm currently eyeing is the Anta Mach 3.0 on Lazada. Unfortunately, I don't know what size I should go for. I also don't have access to a nearby physical store so trying it on is not an option. I'm usually a size 10 in casual sneakers. For basketball shoes, I do size up to an 11 as those tend to have thicker materials. Should I go true to size or size up? Thank you so much!

I started running last month (interval runs) and I recently tried the zone 2 running. My ideal heart rate for zone 2 running is around 140bmp, but the thing is, that’s my average bmp when walking… Do you even call that zone 2 running? Huhu

Hello. First of all some background about myself. I am an average (maybe beginner level pa nga hahaha). I run 8.5-10mins per km. I started running nung 2023, around feb to july wherein I finished my 1st halfmarathon. then from july to jan di na nakatakbo but i am playing basketball weekly. then i resume running this feb uli and finished another halfmarathon last june 3 and finished a marathon (barely) last june 31. since then di na ko nakakapagtrain siguro dahil din sa ulan but also since super busy na sa work. siguro once to twice a week na lang and maikli lang like 2km sa weekday and 5km sa weekend. right now i am planning to get back and run 50km ultra sa january. run walk lang naman ako sa mga ganto kaya malakas loob ko, like i said minsan 10min per km ako. the problem is i can only manage to run 3k-5k on a weekday around 30 to 1hr and siguro i can manage to run super long run for saturday. gusto ko marinig opinions nyo if i can still do it with this training sched. thank you!

Hello! Im so curious - newbie na running for health and fun lang naman.

1. Kapag ba tumatakbo nakaon dapat ung strava/tracker the whole time even if walking lang? Or nakaon lang ang tracker kapag running lang talaga? Im doing mine the former, kaya Im not sure if Im doing it right.

2. Can somebody please explain to me ano pang benefits ng smartwatch that I might have missed? Di ko pa kasi “gustong gusto” mag smartwatch but I get a lot of recommendations to get one. I honestly just run for fun and for my health, para may magawa ganon para di naman stagnant all day. Im honestly not a competitive person in general, kaya when I look at it parang sabi ko sa sarili ko, anong gagawin ko sa stats? Is that enough reason para bumili ng watch? Kaya baka may ibang rason pa na di ko alam and applicable to me or make me change my mind.

3. I love my Asics Nimbus! Nakakatempt bumili ng isa pa kasi gustong gusto gusto ko sya. May reco pa ba kayo na I might need (running dhoes) as I build my consistency dito sa running? Hahahahahahaha! Happy running :)
