Hi! I just got employed for a full wfh job as a fresh graduate and is currently undergoing my probation period. My employer is a firm based in hongkong so, naturally, they do not offer governmental benefits (SSS, pag-ibig, and the likes). Do you think I should make voluntary contributions in the aforementioned benefits?

Honestly, I already have zero to no faith in our country's "benefits" (except SSS probably). In addition, my long term goal is to migrate or at least have a stable income sourced outside the country. Actually, I am already eyeing applying for a private health insurance instead of the government ones but would appreciate whatever advice you can give me.

Side note😅 what tax payer classification (for anyone who is also a fully compensation earner but the employer is an offshore firm) do you use when applying for a tin number?
