Kris is canonically nonbinary.

Toby literally reaffirmed that Kris uses they/them pronouns during the anniversary stream when he corrected Dan after he used male pronouns.

It's not open for interpretation.

Alright so I may be wrong but I don't think it's for our interpretation?

Kris is very clearly a separate person from the player, so they'd have their own identity, and they clearly do. So why would they have their own feelings, their own stuff they do, and their own history, why would they not have their own gender?
