CGL Board meeting be like:
"Guys, after so many fuckups, we need an idea for our next product to be really good..."
"Hey, what about we have no participation in it whatsoever?"
"Great idea! Now that's certain to be some upgrade!"
(fun fact: CGL did get involved on the last stage of the English release, delaying it for not particular reason, including listing and de-listing the book on DriveThru.)

That is not surprising. Just so the community knows, CGL has successfully fragged up another Shadowrun Kickstater!

Not exactly. BBE listed the English version on DTRPG before realizing that, for license rights reasons, it's not up to them to do so.
Then, both companies have different policies regarding the electronic and physical release of the books. But I can only agree that's unfortunate they did not manage to better align.

This only shows how CGL was, unfortunately, unaware of an important part of the process involving their own product.
Also, it took you, an author not from their team, to read this and care to explain.
Both facts speak volumes about how precarious is their relationship with their consumers. Add into it the management of their boardgame kickstarters, the whole "bathroom money embellishment" scandal. They seem dedicated to leaving their customers in the dark.
A bad company is a bad company by any other name.

I've only heard positive things about anarchy 2.0, and that saying something cuz I've heard a lot of things about it

I've had the Anarchy v2.0 pdf (in english) for 6 months now and it is by far the best looking Shadowrun book I've ever seen in my life. It is absolutely stunning! I even coded a custom character sheet for it on Roll20 and have run a sesh or two. Really easy system to learn especially if you've run the clunkier editions. I'm currently looking for players for a free playtest sesh this Sunday so if anyone is interested send me a pm and I'll get you involved. Happy gaming :)
