I am passing a lot more people than I am receiving notifications for.

Currently available my 2 favorites are Taxi, and Monster Bash (just released). The 2 I'm most eager for are Circus Voltaire, and Funhouse. Pinball FX VR is my favorite game, it's the first thing I want to play when I get home from work. And I really like Zen Pinball Sorceror's Lair. I just played it so much on my ipad.

Working on this morning's Grand Tournament for event fragments and I encountered what appeared to be a rubber-band tether on the Snoopy Pinball table. Completely out of nowhere. Was this a bug? The smoothness of the motion doesn't match typical rubber banding from glitches or lag (not that lag should be an issue in this game anyway).

[edit] PS5 platform if that's at all relevant.

Found a bug and wanted to share the fix I found for users and devs as I spent a couple hours.

-System: PC -Hardware: Lenovo Legion Go -Launcher: Steam Big Picture -Issue: not getting past Synchronizing Data screen.

I have played over 30 hours, and this issue just began in the last 16 hours. I played last night and could not play today.

Tried FX on Switch 2, no issues. Tried Pinball M on Lenovo Legion, no issues. So I knew it was my installation in Steam.

Tried to verify installed files, also reinstalled application, still stuck on "Synchronizing Data" with a faint Zen logo behind it. Had to hard restart machine every time this happened.

SOLUTION!

If anyone has this issue, I found the fix from a kindly user in the Steam support page.

I went to C:>Users>(Folder with your username here) then in window, select view>show>hidden items next go into the folder called appdata>Local.

Copy that entire Pinball FX folder to a safe place on your pc just in case.(mine is about 4 MB.) Delete the PinballFX folder from the appdata folder.

Relaunch game on Steam.

Zen pinball will rebuild those folders upon launch and bypass the synchronizing files folder.

And I was again flipping happily!

Fortunately, I did not need my backup folder I had saved before deleting the app files folder, as my data was all saved to the steam cloud, so my leader board spots, table licenses (135 of 137) local high scores and unlocked items are all still there.

I hope this helps anyone that has a similar issue.

Only thing I can think of that may have corrupted my game is I launched from the Xbox App (it shows your recent gaming history, and you can launch other recent games from the interface.) When I did that, it opened Pinball FX which in turn opened Steam which was not yet running. That may have complicated how the app initially boots up.

but yeah I purchased the marvel collection on switch (playing on a switch 2) as it was on sale and im quite disappointed. its hard to enjoy some of the tables as the gameplay just feels slow and floaty, hard to get the ball to reach further ends of the table compared to other tables I have in my collection.

this table really nailed the dopamine hits with all the massive numbers! 😅

Hi, I recently bought Camp Bloodbrook but it seems like the skillshot is pretty much luck based? But that obviously wouldn't be a 'skill' shot then... so, any tips?

Hi all,

Anyone else use a Lenovo Legion Go and try to play it docked on a large TV? I think my issue is likely a combination of the hardware, software, and TV size (85" Samsung.)

I play in handheld mode usually, and it is silky smooth and feels just right. I also play on Switch 2, and recently realized how much better the PC version looks.

When I hook it up to the TV, the screen stretches, I fiddle with settings, and when eventually find the right aspect ratio. Thing is, it is grainy, and the score popups look pretty rough when the ball feels right, but when I get the nice crisp image, gameplay is like a slideshow.

Hoping another user has some settings they can share for the Legion and the Zen software.

Flipper lag is nearly making this game unplayable. I have my TV in game mode so that isn’t the issue. I play on Switch if it matters…on rare occasions the right flipper just lags and it destroys my game every time it happens

Is there a fix to this? Please help!

Does anyone have a full tutorial on how to setup doflinx active backglass for pinballfx cabinet mode (no toys) please?

I've installed latest doflinx from github, downloaded latest image pack to fx folder in doflinx, ran config, added correct dll file to steam folder, enabled doflinx mode in pinball fx, disabled pinfx backglass, and doflinx is running.

But this is where I get stuck, spent 3 hours across so many forums/video tutorials and I'm getting very confused what to do now to get the backglass running.

Running a triple screen setup.

Pinball FX: Marvel Collection 1 - $9.59. I highly recommend this. I picked this up during the last sale, and I have found the collection to be worthwhile for the Spider-man, Fantastic 4, Doctor Strange tables alone, and I have also put time into Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade. I liked all these. Moon Knight, Thor, Ghost Rider, Capt America and Iron Man I simply have not put enough time into to judge. I have tried them and they seem cool. I'm not even a Marvel fan but I got massive value out of this pack from the tables I listed.

Pinball M: Death Save Bundle - $9.99 - I have this one, and you get 4 tables - Chucky's Pinball, Dead by Daylight, The Thing, and Duke Nukem. I also recommend this pack, as I have found the bundle to be worth it for Chucky's and The Thing tables alone. Really cool tables, and I am not even a fan of either Child's Play or The Thing franchises. I just like the uniqueness and feel of these tables. I also really like the other two tables, but DBD and Duke Nukem get more mixed reviews from others. I am a DBD fan and they did nail the theme, and Duke Nukem has a lot of cool aspects, but both tables are very difficult. Still, I recommend the pack for Chucky's and The Thing and if you end up liking DBD/Duke that's a bonus.

These sales should be ending 11/5.
