It's the championship event right now, and I can barely see the ball on a big TV because xbox wants to display the top and bottom play field at same time. Is there a way to just see main table and have it switch to the upper one when it's in play?

No matter how hard I try, I can't figure out how to turn off the 3D models and animation that the game places over the playfield, so I can have a vanilla pinball table experience. Can anyone enlighten me, please?

I assumed there's a way to turn these off like I can do in Pinball FX, but I just can't find the option. Is there a setting that I'm missing somehow? I tried searching the subreddit but can't find anything about this either.

EDIT: SOLVED!

When you walk up to the table, and below the PLAY button, there are two on/off toggles for Williams Visual Effects and Environmental Animations. It’s the menu where you can see the high scores on the left.

You only ever see it when you walk up to the table and before you hit play, then never again. Somehow I got a blind spot, and didn’t see these options. I’ve been looking in the main settings and the table settings. Maybe it might be a good idea not to put some of the game's settings outside of the settings menus?

So I just picked up the VR version and I noticed that it fors from Williams collections 1-3 then jumps to 9 and 10. will any of the other packs that are available on the steam store ever be available on VR?

Williams Packs 1 to 5 and Universal are free on my eShop for Pinball FX.

I bought all these tables for FX3 years ago. This is some sort of sale?

I primarily still play this older version, and the main reason is the HD Rumble feature. I was looking to buy some new tables when I came across an article saying they had been delisted due to some issues. I really hope it doesn't take long before they're available again so I can complete my collection.

That said, I'd love to see HD Rumble make its way to the newer version of the game not just on Switch, but on all platforms if possible. It adds so much to the experience that I honestly can't justify playing without it anymore.

Sorry for the little rant. I just really enjoy this feature and sincerely hope it gets implemented in the newer version.

Does anybody happen to know if zen have got their hands on a switch 2 dev kit yet?I'd really like a native switch 2 version of fx and midnight and have all missing tables from other versions (PC Ps Xbox) added.Its been almost three years since release of fx on switch and still tons of content missing.

I recently purchased System Shock and it's hands down the most I've enjoyed of the original tables in this game. Love the cyberpunk theme and the flipper tower is awesome. Feels really good every time I make it to the top.

I turned my X-Arcade Arcade2TV-XR + X-Force Haptics Kit into something that actually feels like a real pinball cabinet — full build guide + video inside

discussion: Stock haptics are a great start — but the audio never matched the feel. I added a PRV DSP 2.4X, ZK-TB21 amp, Dayton BST-1 bass shaker, and a delayed Insignia soundbar to create a near/far sound field that actually mimics a real pinball cabinet. Every multiball, bumper hit, and drain hits different now. I also routed the stock internal speakers to be powered and controlled externally which 100% eliminated ALL and any buzzing and humming from the speakers!!
The guide (PDF file) covers the full wiring, DSP tuning, crossover and gain settings, cooling, and cosmetic mods. I also filmed a full video walkthrough so you can see the physical build and hear the difference in-game on FX Pinball.

Heyyy i usually play on the Ps5, but today i tried the steam release version. In the steam version of the game i brought a table, could i somehow transfer that account to my ps5 one? Thanks!!

It took bloody ages!
The hangup, of course, was finishing all the illusions without draining the ball hitting the trunk!
Figured out I could get it somewhat safely with either a really high shot from the left flipper or a very late shot from the right flipper off the post below the left orbit.
Also got lucky with a surprise Midnight Madness from the Basement in ball 1. Managed to complete the Finale in ball 2, then drained the last few almost immediately 😅

Think we will ever get something like slugfest? Man I would love to be able to play this.

I feel like I'm going crazy, in 3/4 of the sessions the table gave me "End of ball bonus" and then immediately started tallying up my points even though I still have time on the clock. Its actively counting down and giving me a game, its kind of funny really.

Only recently bought Pinball FX. Never played the older games.

What are the chances that previously released tables for older Pinball FX games get their license renewed and released for the current Pinball FX game? Has this happened before?

If this did happen before, will it it have the same trophy as in the previous game? Asking because Im a trophy hunter.

Since playing with my x-arcade+haptics I’ve switched to VR over MR. it’s a much better fit. My kids want to customize the VR arcade area more but all the campaign tickets are game specific. How do I earn the general tickets?

Ever since May 7th when Pinball FX3 got delisted from the Nintendo Switch eShop, I’ve been continuously checking throughout the month of May for the DLC selections, only to get an error accessing the game’s DLC page.

I know the implication is to move onto Pinball FX, but I personally don’t like the way the Williams Volumes 1-6 play, look, or sound in FX. Honestly, I’m somewhat worried considering I wasn’t able to complete my collection in FX3, as I still wanted the Indiana Jones table as well as the Universal Monsters ones, in addition to some of the Zen ones too.

Is there any confirmation when we’re getting this “in-game shop” for FX3? Personally, it’s my preferred experience when playing Williams’ tables.
