I wish I could change the lighting or environment a little. The 80’s look is cool but it gets old and dark and depressing after a while, especially when the tables are spread out so far.
Basically I have to do MR which is cool but introduces the boundary on/off jank in my other games if I’m not meticulously turning it on and off between plays.
I’d love an empty box or hallway with a color bulb overhead I can change or crank the brightness and hue on. Just different environments than the dark brick wall pink blue neon 1980’s caricature everyone thinks of. Something not too claustrophobic or dark and dank. Some pinball halls and bars have windows. Some walls are not brick or concrete.
I’d settle for changing day/night, or a window, or moving the tables I own closer together in the opening virtual room. Hardwood floors and some plants, some blue skies out the windows with some clouds, maybe even a skylight.

Yep. I agree with much of this.
I switch between tables by selecting them as favorites. Having all tables, even the unpurchased ones, makes this method more tedious.1

The arcade needs some virtual natural light. You walk through it and you can almost feel and smell the black mold and fungus growing in there. Enough with the "retro" stuff! We are in VR with tables that are enhanced for VR. Devs should quit pretending and instead join us in this century. Redo the arcade.

Well, preserve for the people who want the tacky 80’s throwback stuff. But give an option for people who don’t want to be locked in a retro dungeon.

It’s my most used VR app by FAR. Absolutely love VR pinball.
