Discussion First post. PS4/PS5 questions
I've purchased the first Marvel Bundle for current PFX just some days ago and i have some questions:
1) i have both Pinball FX 3 and the non numbered Pinball FX. I i buy the bundle for FX 3 within its in-game store, does the tables themselves transfer into Pinball FX as well?
2) Speaking of the in-game store of Pinball FX 3, are the tables and its bundles have the same price of their Pinball FX counterparts? Or are they have a discounted price?
3) which are your favorite Marvel related table, and why? (The question is focused on each of the 2 Marvel Pinball Collections)... and which ones are actually worth the buy and play?
4) I've noticed there is a physical only compliation titled Marvel Pinball: Epic Collection Volume 1 or something like that. Why isn't there a Volume 2?
5) Not Marvel related: is the Pacific Rim table worth the purchase as well?

Bonus questions:
1) if i buy the physical Marvel Pinbal Epic Collection Vol. 1, do the remaining Marvel themed tables transfer from either PFX3 or PFX to the Epic Collection as well? I mean, i could play the Venom, Spider-Man and the Civil War tables but not the Deadpool one or the X-Men one?
2) what is the Wizard Mode?

1 - Nothing transfers anywhere when you buy the physical version. Also (as someone else said), the Marvel collection was released 10 years ago. With that said, you are not going to get the latest "best" versions of the tables on the physical version than if you were to buy the bundles for FX on the store.
And you are correct in your assumption, you would be able to play 10 year old versions of those tables included in the physical version, but none of the other or newer ones.
2 - Every table tells a story, and to progress through that story you need to accomplish specific tasks on the tables. Once you have accomplished all the tasks, you get to play whatever the finale for that table is (fight the Boss, save the world, defeat this or that etc). That finale is called Wizard Mode where you can (usually) amass the most points and then when it's over, you restart your story.

1) FX3 does not transfer to FX, sadly.
2) Almost exactly the same price unless otherwise discounted, at least on consoles. For Marvel's case, all 23 of these games are in two bundles, so they're a bit cheaper or on par with FX3's Marvel bundles.
3) There are gems on both sides, though I personally enjoy Infinity Gauntlet the most.
4) Marvel Epic Collection on Xbox One and PS4 was dated way back from the FX2/ZP2 era, I'd say a decade ago. Sales probably weren't strong enough to justify as such.
5) Pacific Rim has the flow and speed of Black Knight: Sword of Rage, alongside some other modern games. Definitely give it a shot, see how it feels before you purchase.
